Hello!

My name is Clover, and I am from Sioux City, IA, also known as Sewer City, for its sewer plant right next to the I29 Highway. I have been an artist from a young age, making messes on the wall and then very quickly to the page, thanks to my mother. I have a close relationship with my parents, but I always hoped for a sibling when I was a kid; because I grew up as an only child, I found comfort in video games.

This led me to fall in love with character designs and motion capture. I got lost in the characters' worlds and wanted to emulate them on my terms. I decided to go to college at SDSU in Brookings, SD. While I was moving away to college, my parents were moving 18 hours away from me to Texas. 

To comfort myself, I listened to Hadestown, and halfway through my drive, the song "Wait for Me" popped up. I started bawling my eyes out. The music, the vocals, the acting—I was leaving my hometown, family, and everything familiar. Listening to it all made me realize that I have to perform. I need to be on that stage, pouring my heart out.
